The Fencing Club at Manchester High School has a long history.  The first modern Olympics held in 1896 included fencing with foils.  Over the last 116 years the sport has grown tremendously.  Two more categories of weapons were added, epee and saber.  Fencing is currently one of the fastest growing sports in America.  Many Connecticut High schools have fully funded teams while many more are like Manchester High, with fencing clubs.  Everyone is welcome to join us Thursday after school in room 187.  No experience is needed.  Suit up and try your hand an exciting sport.
