Marching Band Wins Awards At Montville Competition

The Manchester High School Marching Band started their competition season on Saturday, Oct. 6 with a fine debut performance at the Montville ‘Marching Madness’ competition. After a 1-hour rain delay, the bands performed its ‘Phantom of the Opera’ show to a very enthusiastic audience. The photo shows an elated leadership team of Drum Major Rachel Brewer, Colorguard Captain Madelena Pattacini, and Assistant Drum Major Terrance Brown with awards for Best Colorguard (Class II), Best Percussion (Class II), and the second place trophy (Class II). The next competition for the MHSMB is on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Rockville High School.
