What’s up Redline!
Most of you probably know me as the kid that is obsessed with Lil Wayne, or the kid who’s very shy and is constantly writing music. Well that kid is me, 11th grader JonCarlo Cortese — however I prefer to be called JC. This past weekend I managed to achieve the #2 trending topic spot in New England on twitter due to my music. I’ve been rapping since I was just 9 years old and this is my dream. People everywhere told me dreams don’t come true, and everyone at MHS proved that wrong. Due to so much student support my music is drastically taking off in a positive way. I hope to continue my success and, thanks to the student body at MHS, I truly believe my music can put a positive influence into our school which we rarely get to see.
By clicking on the photo above you can hear me perform “Perfect For Me,” which is one of my new songs. You can also follow me on Twitter at @jc_squad.
Once again THANK YOU to everyone who is making my dream come true. Let’s all work together and become more of a family rather than a school, not just with my music but in all of our student body’s endeavors
We are a school of multiple talents, and very intelligent students. Let’s prove the stereotypes of our school wrong and rise to be something more than what everyone is expecting. We are MHS. We are dream chasers. And we can achieve anything.
